Photographing my friends’ children is a great privilege. So when I was asked to take Pete’s senior pictures I was touched and elated. Pete’s a super smart, laid back kid who is also super talented, not to mention very handsome. He played his guitar and sang during the photo shoot. I felt like it was more of a session for a CD cover than senior pictures. It was also one of the few times when I could tell that a teenager didn’t mind having parents around. Pete just did his thing and didn’t worry about mom. It helps that mom just hung back and smiled. The joy and pride on her face was beautiful. Here are a few images from the session.
