I’m a proud graduate of St. Mary’s University. I love everything about the school. Most importantly I love how it’s steeped in history. I also love baseball, so I spent countless hours watching ball games at V.J. Keefe Memorial Stadium at St. Mary’s. I was sad to learn that they are going to be tearing it down to make way for a new multi-million dollar facility for baseball, softball, tennis and soccer. I know this will do great things for the school and for the athletes, but I can’t help be saddened that this old stadium will be torn down. I’m working on seeing how I can get a few of the stadium seats to put in my backyard. Until then here are a few images from the last regular season home game, including one of my hubby and kiddo heading to the game.
