You know the game… Simon says stand on one foot. And you’re supposed to stand on one foot. Who is this Simon and why does he control us? Regardless I’m glad the game was invented because I’ve found it to be most helpful in getting children to work with me during a portrait session. It also means that there are times when I ask them to do something, they do it and I say “Uh oh, I didn’t say Simon says” and I’ll get these great reactions.
In the end I didn’t really need to rely on Simon that much. Check out the gorgeous smiles on this family of four.
These kids were more than willing to show their teeth for me and hug and love each other and their wonderful parents.
